Shipping & Delivery Policy
At My Pet Story, we aim to deliver your pet’s favourites safely and as quickly as possible. Below are the details of our shipping and delivery process.
Order Processing Time
- All orders are processed within 1–2 business days
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next working day
- During sales or peak periods, dispatch may take slightly longer
Once shipped, you will receive a tracking link via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery timelines after dispatch:
- Metro cities: 2–4 business days
- Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities: 3–7 business days
- Remote locations: 5–9 business days
Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, weather conditions, or operational issues.
Shipping Charges
We aim to keep shipping simple and transparent:
- Free shipping on prepaid orders above ₹799
- Standard shipping fee: ₹50 for orders below the free shipping threshold
- Cash on Delivery (COD) charges: ₹80 (if applicable)
Shipping fees are non-refundable once the order is shipped.
Cash on Delivery (COD)
- COD is available on selected pincodes only
- My Pet Story reserves the right to disable COD for high-risk orders or locations
- Repeated order refusals may result in COD being restricted for the customer
- Customers are requested to keep the exact amount ready at the time of delivery
Order Tracking
Once your order is shipped, you will receive:
- A tracking link via email, SMS, or WhatsApp
- Live tracking updates from our courier partner
If you do not receive tracking details within 48 hours of placing your order, please contact us.
Delivery Delays
While we work with reliable courier partners, delays may occur due to:
- Weather conditions
- Operational disruptions
- Remote location serviceability
- High order volumes during sale periods
My Pet Story is not liable for delays caused by courier partners, but we will always assist in escalation and support.
Partial Deliveries
In rare cases, your order may be shipped in multiple packages:
- Separate tracking updates will be shared
- No additional shipping charges will be applied
Failed Delivery Attempts
Courier partners usually attempt delivery 2–3 times.
If delivery fails due to:
- Customer unavailability
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Refusal to accept the order
The order may be marked as RTO (Return to Origin).
Re-shipping such orders may attract additional shipping charges.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing:
- A complete and correct shipping address
- A valid phone number
- A nearby landmark (recommended)
My Pet Story is not responsible for delivery failures due to incorrect or incomplete details provided by the customer.
Serviceable Areas
We currently ship to most pincodes across India.
If your location is not serviceable, our team will inform you and arrange a full refund.
